Sexual abuse creates a kind of psychological “incarceration” that no human being should ever have to endure. Only the absolute, undying love of Jesus can unlock the cell of shame that has formed the fabric of a victim’s inner being. No human institution has the power to transform a person from the inside out the way the Creator of the Universe does. We are His hands, His feet, and His heart to the lost and dying of this world. As directors of the Victims of Sexual Violence Ministry, with Patty a survivor of human trafficking and exploitation, it is our desire to bring healing and hope to those who have suffered sexual abuse, and work to prevent such a fate for those most vulnerable.
