Date/Time Of Accident: |
Concerning (2), my original article had a typographical error, where I once used “December 29th” (not “December 30th” as is reported in this chart) instead of “November 29.” That error was corrected within a few days of its original writing. The creator of this chart continues to report a typographical error that has been corrected for well over a year.Regarding (3), the article at CFAN does not state that Daniel had his accident or that he died in the morning. It only states that Daniel was returning from his father’s home in Owerri, where he had journeyed that morning, when he had his accident. |

Witnesses To The Entire Story, Start To Finish |
No disharmony is proven here. Concerning (2), the bulk of my first article was based on facts I learned in an interview with Ede Samuel, not Daniel Eke. Again, the creator of this chart reports what is not true. Moreover, I suspect that although Daniel was dead for two days, he has learned quite a lot about what happened to his body during those two days. So his testimony of what happened to his body while he was dead is worth something. |
Kingsley Ekechukwu, Daniel’s brother, related the story to Igwe |
Ede Samuel, Nneka Ekechukwu after she arrived at first hospital, this interview was with Daniel who was allegedly dead during two days of it |

Why did Daniel take the trip? |
I sincerely hope that the creator of this chart doesn’t want us to think that, just because Daniel’s reason for his trip is not mentioned in some reports, we have reason to believe that contradicts other articles that do tell us the reason for Daniel’s trip.Concerning (6), the creator of this chart sites a quotation found at the web site of a fellow skeptic, and not from his stated source. That skeptic writes at his web site, “Bonnke The skeptic then It does?!! This shows |

Accident | Look at the harmony in these seven reports! Are we to disbelieve this miracle occurred because I didn’t report (2) that Daniel hit his head on the windscreen (British for “windshield”) and CFAN did report it (3)? Concerning (7), this |
Auto crash, no details |
Driving home, brakes failed on steep hill in 20 year old Mercedes 230E, crashed into concrete pillar, no seat belt, hit his chest on steering wheel and knob, damage to internal organs, vomiting blood, difficulty breathing |
Drove 20 year old Mercedes 230, brakes failed on steep road, no seat belt, smashed into stone pillar, head hit the windscreen, steering wheel and knob, blood poured form his nose from a head injury, vomited blood from internal hemorrhage |
Fatally injured in an auto accident |
Head smashed into the windshield |
n/a | Hit by a car |
Who was in the car with Daniel? |
Are we to disbelieve that this miracle occurred because an atheist reports that Kingsley, Daniel’s passenger, was a brother, and CFAN reports that Kingsley was a friend? |
Daniel’s brother Kingsley Ekechukwu in accident with Dan Eke, no mention of injury |
No one mentioned |
Friend Kingsley Iruka with Dan Eke, not badly hurt |
No one mentioned |

Why was Dan Eke moved from the first hospital? |
Both Daniel and his wife were not happy that Daniel was dying and being treated unsuccessfully in a Catholic hospital with “many icons,” according to what they both told me in personal interviews. Both Daniel and his wife agreed that he should be taken to Umezurike Hospital in Owerri where a doctor practiced who had helped Daniel survive a life-threatening injury approximately one year earlier. I personally interviewed that doctor at Umezurike hospital (arriving unannounced), and he verified the facts of his treatment of Daniel, saving his life at that time. |
Daniel complained of spiritual attacks, requested to be taken to a private clinic in Owerri |
Doctor admitted there was nothing he could do to save Daniel’s life, Daniel requested to be transferred by ambulance to Umezuruike Hospital at Owerri |
He hung on to life to ask his wife to have him taken to his family doctor’s hospital in Owerri |

What was Daniel’s condition in the ambulance? |
This is disharmony? Daniel drifted in and out of consciousness from the time of his accident until the time of his death. |
Stopped breathing in ambulance |
Became oblivious to the natural world in the ambulance |
Drifted into unconsciousness in ambulance |

Who declared Daniel dead? |
Daniel’s dead body was taken to three medical facilities in Owerri on the night on November 30, 2001. First was Umezurike Hospital, also known as the Owerri Regional Hospital. Next was the Federal Medical Center, and finally St. Eunice’s Clinic. I personally visited all three, and they are in a close proximity. The atheist (1) reports wrongly. |
Arrived at clinic, doctor advised them to take Daniel’s body to the hospital |
Arrived at Umerzurike Hospital, member of the medical staff told Nneka (Dan’s wife) that he was dead |
Arrived at Owerri Regional Hospital, member of medical staff checked Daniel’s limp form, certified Daniel was already dead. |
Certified dead, not mention as to who certified him |
n/a | n/a | Not mentioned |
Where was the body taken next? |
Concerning (1), Daniel’s body was eventually taken to a mortuary. Both (2) and (3) are correct. I didn’t report anything about Daniel’s uncle, feeling it to be unimportant. I would hate to see the creator of this chart construct a similar chart on the resurrection of Jesus, using the four Gospels as his sources! |
Body taken to mortuary |
Body taken to Federal Medical Center in Owerri, then to Eunice Clinic, then to Dan’s father’s house, then to mortuary |
Body taken to Daniel’s uncle, then Eunice Clinic, taken to Daniel’s father in village near Owerri, then to Ikeduru General Hospital Mortuary |
Story starts at mortuary then to church |

Nnekas’s Dream |
Concerning (2), I never interviewed Kingsley. Concerning all the rest, they are quite harmonious. Nneka was standing on certain scriptures from the beginning, and also had her dream of Daniel. Nneka indeed did believe that the anointing where Reinhard Bonnke would be preaching could raise her husband’s body to life, just as the Shunamite woman believed that if Elisha would come, her dead son would be brought back to life (see 2 Kings 4:18-37), and just as the woman with the issue of blood believed that if she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be healed (see Mark 5:25-34). Or, just like all the people believed who took cloths and handkerchiefs from Paul’s body to lay upon people who were sick or demon possessed (see Acts 19:11-12). All those people were healed through an anointing, given by God via a human. |
Kingsley Ekechukwu & Nneka Ekechukwu both had similar dreams to take Daniel’s body to Reinhard Bonnke |
Nneka Ekechukwu had a dream, no mention of Kingsley, Daniel tells her in her dream he is not dead and to take him to Bonnke in Onitsha, also repeated by Bonnke on Kenneth Copeland program 8/19/2002 where Dan Eke speaks to his wife from the dead and says “Don’t allow me to be buried, I will rise.” |
No dreams mentioned, Nneka Ekechukwu had Bible verse ringing in her head |
No dreams mentioned |
No dreams mentioned, Nneka Ekechukwu said God gave her a Scripture (Heb. 11:35), believed that “where Reinhard Bonnke preaches the anointing is so powerful that the rising of the dead would be possible”, brought husband to Bonnke because he would be around Bonnke’s great “anointing”, |
Nneka’s wife believed that she should bring Dan under Bonnke’s anointing |
No dreams mentioned |
What was Bonnke doing in Onitsha? |
Wonderfully harmonious. Is the creator of this chart actually trying to disprove the miracle of Daniel’s resurrection by showing us that an atheist reported that Bonnke was visiting a church for prayers while CFAN reported that Bonnke was speaking in Onitsha at a dedication ceremony? Both are the same. |
Bonnke was visiting church in Onitsha for prayers |
Bonnke was preaching in Onitsha |
Bonnke was speaking at a dedication ceremony in Onitsha |
Bonnke was preaching at a service in Onitsha |
n/a | Bonnke was opening the new Kingdom Life World Evangelism church in Onitsha attended by 12,000 people, was upstairs preaching, after he prayed upstairs Daniel came to life downstairs |

Embalming | Concerning (1), this is a falsehood by the creator of this chart. In the article being cited, the atheist author didn’t even claim to have interviewed the mortician. He only states that Kingsley told him the same thing that the mortician told me when I interviewed him. The mortician told Kingsley that he was prevented by some kind of strange power from completing the major part of the embalming process. He also states that he asked Kingsley if Daniel’s body was injected with embalming fluid, and that Kingsley said, “no!” As I have stated in my report, Daniel’s body was only partially embalmed. Either Kingsley didn’t know that, or he was affirming that Daniel’s body had not been embalmed to any large degree, i.e., removing organs and pumping his body with embalming fluid. It is interesting that the creator of this chart uses the atheist’s article to show discrepancies in the story, but if you will take time to read that article, you will see that the large majority of what the atheist reports harmonizes perfectly with what the other reports say. See www.secularhumanism.org/library/aah/igwe_11_3.htm. This, again, is a deception at the “deceptioninthechurch” web site. |
Mortician said he did not inject embalming fluid into Daniel |
Embalming chemicals injected between Daniel’s fingers and into his feet – full embalming not done, people could smell embalming fluid coming from his body for two weeks after alleged resurrection |
A chemical injected and prepared for embalming |
A chemical was injected to prepare for embalming |
n/a | n/a | Daniel was embalmed, no removal of organs, injected with chemicals into body to slow decay. |
Mortuary | Harmonious. I (2) simply didn’t report it exactly as the atheist (1) did, but all he states here is true. I questioned the mortician extensively about the time Daniel’s body was in the mortuary. See my third article on the resurrection of Daniel Ekechukwu. |
Daniel was disturbing mortician, did not allow him to sleep for two days, something pushed him when he tried to embalm Daniel and he hit his head on the wall, people were singing in the morgue, when he went to investigate the singing stopped |
Full embalming was attempted the next morning but mortician experienced shocks from Daniel, songs were coming from mortuary, light emanating from Dan’s face, later Saturday tried to cut Daniel’s thigh but met with “same resistance” |

In Coffin At Mortuary? |
Daniel was laid between two other corpses at the mortuary until Sunday morning, when a coffin was purchased by his father and they took his body in that coffin to Onitsha. Daniel’s body remained in that coffin until Nneka was permitted to bring his body into the church in Onitsha. |

Days In Mortuary? |
Almost perfect harmony! Daniel died on Friday evening of November 30, 2001, and was resurrected in the afternoon on Sunday, December 2, 2001. Concerning (5), Daniel was indeed in the mortuary Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. The two pastors, quite likely, didn’t know the exact chronology anyway. |
Two days |

Daniel’s Vision – Heaven |
All harmonious. CFAN didn’t report everything regarding Daniel’s experience in hell. |
No mention of any vision |
Two angels lifted him out of the ambulance, one angel took him to Paradise, saw people worshipping bright light, all lifted hands and bowed in unison “as if a sort of electronic device was activating them.”, saw Abraham, saw mansions prepared for the righteous, “Mansions are ready…saints are not…Jesus is being delayed because Christians in the church are not ready.” |
No mention of any vision |
Visited by two angels and taken to heaven, saw people dressed in white singing and praising God |
n/a | n/a | Saw saints worshiping, saw Jesus as a white, bright light, taken to mansions, the mansions are ready but the saints are not |
Daniel’s Vision – Welcome Sign Over Gates Of Hell |
All harmonious. I questioned Daniel extensively about this. See my third article on his resurrection. |
No mention of any vision |
No mention of any sign |
No mention of any vision |
No mention of any sign |
n/a | Bonnke said Daniel said there was a welcome sign over hell, Daniel said there was a sign that read: “Welcome to the gates of hell.”, also quoted March 15, 2002, South Africa, by Esther Lewis here |
No mention of any sign |
Daniel’s Vision – Hell |
All harmonious. Concerning (7), perhaps Daniel saw no fire in hell because hell is not the same as the Lake of Fire. One day, hell will be cast into the Lake of Fire. See my third article. |
No mention of any vision |
Angel took Daniel to hell, people screaming, weeping, eating their own flesh then vomit and eat it again, endlessly mutilating sexual organs, saw former dictator of Nigeria, saw Christian occult dabbler, saw former pastor in Daniel’s church who embezzled funds, angel tells Daniel he is bound for hell, Daniel says “I am a man of God…“, sends Daniel back to grant the rich man’s request (Luke 16:27-30), led to mountain top by angel and sees Bonnke there |
No mention of any vision |
Was taken to hell, angel gives him another chance to go back and that “the rich man’s request to Lazarus–to warn those still alive about hell–had been granted to this generation.” |
n/a | n/a | Went to hell but saw no fire, people were cannibalizing themselves, people in hell didn’t see the angel next to Dan, said Dan would be connected to Bonnke though his testimony, reason he would remain in hell if not sent back was because “he was not living right” |
At The Church |
Daniel’s body was taken out of his coffin when it was taken into the church. Concerning (3), what is reported here by the creator of this chart is false. The report at the CFAN website does not say that Daniel rose from his coffin. See www.cfan.org/{English}/[US_Site]/content.asp?id=0000184&page=04 |
No mention | Body was taken into the church “without the casket” due to security concerns, placed in basement laid out on two tables pushed together in a Sunday School room, some believers prayer around Daniel’s body |
Daniel rose from his coffin |
Body was taken out of the coffin and put on a table in the church conference center, several pastors began to pray |
n/a | n/a | No mentionOther conflicting accounts: (1) coffin was brought into church (2) three pastors lifted Dan from coffin and he started to breath |
Dead Raising – where was Bonnke? |
Concerning (4), it should not be assumed (as Americans might) that the service would not have continued after Bonnke left. Bonnke preached, prayed, and left. He did not know that Daniel had been resurrected until he was long gone. He certainly was not there when a woman’s husband ran to the altar. After Daniel’s resurrection, as you can imagine, the church service continued for a while.Concerning (5),this is a falsehood. I’ve watched the video produced by CFAN many times and have never heard Bonnke state what is claimed here. Concerning (7), |
No mention of where Bonnke was |
Bonnke was preaching at an afternoon church dedication service, he had nothing to do with the miracle, wasn’t aware of the dead body in the basement of the church |
Bonnke knew nothing about what was happening, was preaching and praying upstairs, Bonnke immediately left to board a planned plane flight |
When the members of the church learned about Daniel’s resurerction…her husband ran to the church altar to ask God to forgive him his sins (Bonnke would have seen this), keep in mind that Bonnke and Dan both fell into the hole together in his vision, implying that Bonnke would raise him from the dead and work with him |
Bonnke says he was upstairs praying in the name of Jesus, Daniel gasped for air, started to scream, his body was moving and breathing, Bonnke was notified that Daniel started breathing |
n/a | Was preaching and knew nothing about it – then later in the story says Dan was there in the basement while he was preaching upstairs “in the name of Jesus”– later he claims he did not know Daniel at all before this incident |
Others miracles associated with this dead raising? |
Nothing disharmonious. Concerning (7), Daniel told me this same thing. |
None mentioned | None mentioned | None mentioned | When the members of the church learned about Ekechukwu’s resurrection, a woman who had been on crutches threw them away and started running |
