Demon Deliverance

Heaven’s Family-supported national missionary Thanish Kumar and his wife

Dear Friends,

I want to share with you, in his own words, national missionary Thanish Kumar’s account about how the Lord led him to a distant village where he encountered two demon-possessed girls—and the exhilarating move of God that followed!

While I was praying, the Lord spoke to me that I should go to Bhawana Village [in northern India]. So I inquired about this place and reached there with my wife. Then we met a man who was so sad and sitting alone under a tree. So, we sat with him and asked him about the village and the people there. He shared with us about his sadness—how his two young daughters are not well. In fact, they are demon-possessed. He told us about how he took them to different religious places and hospitals but there was no improvement.

I went with my wife to his house and shared about the Lord Jesus Christ and started praying for them. While we were praying, the demons in them manifested very heavily on them. It was a big spiritual warfare but they were delivered about half an hour later. The parents were so happy to see their daughters healed and delivered!

The same day, he invited many of his neighbors, relatives, and friends into his house. So, we had a big opportunity to preach to them the gospel and to pray for many of them there. Within one month, there is now a house church already formed in this village and the number is growing. The villagers are so happy to see these girls be healed and they want to know more about this God who could so transform their lives.

I believe there is going to be a great work in this village as well as the nearby villages. It is first time these people hear about the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, within very short time, this name, Jesus, is spreading throughout the village. Please pray for us!

Like the Apostle Paul, Thanish Kumar and his wife “…do not consider their lives of any account as dear to themselves, so that they may finish their course and the ministry that they received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:24).
