Our Commitment to Financial Integrity

As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, the trustees and staff members of Heaven’s Family are committed to financial transparency and integrity. To that end, below are links to our most recent 990 form, which the U.S. Internal Revenue Service requires annually from all nonprofit corporations except churches. All nonprofits are also required to make their 990 forms available to the public upon request, as they reveal key financial information of interest to donors regarding program, fundraising, an management/general expenses. Beyond our annual 990 report, Heaven’s Family also undergoes an outside, independent, substantial annual audit that is submitted to our board of trustees for review. Our board of trustees also regularly reviews Heaven’s Family’s finances.

We believe that trust is something that must be earned. So we do our best to communicate with our donors—through email updates, blogs, and our bi-monthly newsletters—to keep them informed about what their investments are accomplishing around the world.

Charity Navigator, America’s leading charity evaluator, has awarded Heaven’s Family its highest rating—4-Stars—for demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. Approximately only one-fourth of rated charities have achieved this distinction.

Heaven’s Family is also a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

If you have any questions about the ministry of Heaven’s Family, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are here to serve you as you join us in building the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and serving the “least of these” around the world.

Sincerely in Him,
David Servant

Note: Because Form 990 is lengthy and complicated, the I.R.S. allows nonprofits plenty of time to complete them. The filing deadline is November 15 for the previous year. So Heaven’s Family’s 2022 990 Form will be submitted to the I.R.S. and posted here on our website no later than November, 2023. Schedules B and L not included.
