Inside Syria, for several years, Heaven’s Family’s Refugee Ministry has been providing food parcels for 100 extremely vulnerable families in partnership with a local church. The pastor has shared this report with us:
We buy foodstuffs and give it to people according to the needs, and especially displaced families from Ghouta—who know Jesus in our church through this service. Every time these families came to take food parcels it was an opportunity to talk about Jesus, pray with them and share the Word of God.
Many of these displaced women are widows, or women who have not heard from their husbands for several years. Isn’t it a beautiful sight to behold them with their hands up, worshipping God? There is now a special service to minister to these internally displaced women from Ghouta. (If you’re unfamiliar with the area, search online for photos of Ghouta and you’ll instantly realize the immense need in this region.)
Thank you for your support, which God has used to keep these women and their children alive. You’ve also helped bring them to a genuine understanding of who God is and how much He cares about them.
