Nan is Celebrating Clean Water!
Reaching Rural Pakistan with Clean Water & Renewed Hope
Some of the ladies, full of joy, at the new well ready to fill their jugs with fresh clean water!
Darya Kahn Village lies deep within the interior of the vast farmlands of Sindh Province, Pakistan. All you can see for miles and miles are crops. There is no commerce, school, or medical clinic anywhere nearby. But there is a busy motorway that runs very near to the village
The Marwari tribal people who live here are Hindu. They are dalits, the lowest of the low among Hindus and even lower living the Muslim nation of Pakistan. In the past years our ministry partners have been reaching out to this village and others to reach these previously unreached people for Jesus.
Since that time, Darya Kahn now has many families who are following Jesus since first hearing the gospel some years ago. Though the people are very physically poor, they are becoming spiritually rich because they are coming to know Jesus!
But they were suffering as they had zero access to clean water. The community depended on a polluted irrigation canal for drinking water. Besides that, to reach the canal, the busy motorway had to be crossed. This daily journey posed significant risks, especially for women and children who spent hours carrying gallons of water back and forth amidst heavy traffic.
The polluted water caused numerous health issues. Nan, a lovely young lady from the village, was so unhappy because the dirty water she drank every day made her feel sick. She suffered with skin rashes and ongoing stomach pain.
Now, thanks to your generous gifts to the Heaven’s Family Safe Water Ministry we have drilled a deep well at Darya Kahn. The completion of a new well marks a miraculous turning point for Darya Kahn. Clean water now flows, bringing better health and hope to the village.
Each well installed by Heaven’s Family is more than just a source of water—it’s a wellspring of hope, uniting and strengthening communities through the love of Jesus. As those who benefit drink from the wells you help provide, they are also introduced to the Living Water that promises eternal life.
Thank you so much!
The irrigation canal water that was making the people sick.
Holding a glass of crystal-clear water, Nan radiates joy, a heartwarming reminder of the transformative power of clean water.
