Soon self-sufficient! [Second Blog from Myanmar]

The loom that is helping Rapha Orphanage prosper.

I’m very happy to announce that Rapha Orphanage in Kalaymyo is well on it’s way to becoming completely self-sufficient! This year they received a loan for a loom business that is already generating enough income to provide for two of the children living there.

In addition to their loom business, they also have a fish pond and are raising several pigs. Silas, the director of Rapha, believes it won’t be too long before his orphanage will be able to stand on its own.

Don’t miss the photos below that show some of the beautiful “fruit” of Rapha!

Thank you to everyone for being a part of this small miracle!

Love the updates with pictures of the kids and adults. So good to see people so appreciative of the help they receive, even though it means they will have to work to become self-sufficient! Keep up the good work!
