Still Loving Older Orphans

21 Feb

This young woman is one of the many older orphans that Orphan’s Tear serves.

We feel it is our responsibility at Orphan’s Tear to help prepare older children, who are growing too old to continue living at their orphanage, to become self-sufficient adults. We also want to make sure they make that transition successfully.

We usually turn this work over to the Education Fund at Heaven’s Family. We’ve had many requests recently from our orphanage directors to help their older orphans receive important vocational training. Below is an example of one of the orphans that needs vocational training. Would you consider helping one (or several) of them?

Love and Mercy Shelter received some new pillows, blankets, and mosquito nets. Do you think these kids were excited at all?
