Summer has arrived in Myanmar!

Tiuang recieving her award
Tluang Za Men of Living Hope Orphanage earned a third place prize in her class at school

The sweltering heat of summer has already begun its oppressive reign in Myanmar this year, making it impossible to hold classes in the mostly-bamboo classrooms where air-conditioning is unheard of. Thus the school season ends in February and March for most students. They are all required to take a final exam before the school year ends. This test will determine whether students move on to the next grade or will be required to repeat the same grade all over again.

A few of the orphans sponsored by Orphan’s Tear not only passed their test, but were in the top of their class! The orphanage directors sent me some photos of these children receiving awards for their hard work.

Thank you so much for being a part of answering the prayers of a few orphans!.
