Bethany Gully and her husband Amho lived as missionaries in Asia for the past 11 years. We were working with a specific unreached people group, along with our team, hoping to see a church planting movement happen among that specific people group. While in Asia, we studied the language, taught English and ran a BAM (Business As Mission) Restaurant. Our son Jedidiah was born in June of 2017. We came back to America in May of 2019 on an extended furlough.
Bethany’s dad, David Promise, is Heaven’s Family’s director of Frontline Discipleship. It was through my dad’s heart for the nations and traveling with him overseas on short term trips during high school that God began to give me a heart for the nations and the lost. I was excited when my dad started working with Heaven’s Family and have been blessed to join him as an administrative assistant in the Frontline Discipleship Ministry.
I am glad to be involved in helping some of the most unreached people and the “least of these” through the ministries of Heaven’s Family, while waiting for God to release my husband and I back into frontier missions.
