God Brings Healing Through You

Through horrific circumstances, Florence flourishes

Florence’s business is flourishing, thanks to you!

Florence’s deranged husband was insisting that they needed to sacrifice their oldest son to Satan so that they could gain riches. She feared that her husband might take off with the boy some night and that she would never see him again.

One day, Florence left with the family’s four children and ran to a neighbor’s house for safety. But the possessed father found them. In a rage, he attacked three children (two of his own and one of the neighbor’s) with a machete. He then cut off both of Florence’s feet and left them all for dead.

Florence was still breathing when help arrived. All four victims were rushed to the nearest hospital where, tragically, the three children were pronounced dead.

Florence spent seven months in the hospital healing from her wounds and mourning the lost children. She had nowhere to go, no possessions, and no money. When she heard that our Heaven’s Family ministry partner in Uganda was giving mattresses to widows and abandoned women in the area, she sought him out.

When we made Florence’s needs known, God supplied all of them through you. Your gifts paid Florence’s hospital bills, bought her a wheelchair, covered her rent for three months, and provided a small business grant so that she can work toward supporting herself. Not only that, but there is money left over for the surgery that will prepare her legs for prosthetics.

Through all you have done for Florence, she senses that God sees her, loves her, and cares about her. Thank you for being a part of the healing God is bringing to the women of the Heaven’s Family Widows and Abandoned Women Ministry!
