Feeding the Bread of Life to Hungry Children in the Philippines

Pao Pao is four years old. Her mother, Sheila, is amazed by the opportunity that her four children have at the daily feeding program in their very impoverished squatter village in Mindanao, Philippines. Her children who would often go hungry always come to join in the Bible story time, to receive the feeding, to play, and learn.

The Heaven’s Family Food Ministry has come alongside this effective program, called the Care Program, is reaching out to serve approximately 90 extremely poor children.

The program includes daily meetings that consist of Bible readings, Bibles stories, teaching the children to love God and love one another play and sport time, and a nutritious hot meal.

Both the younger and the older children are coming to know Jesus, who is the Bread of Life. They also learn how to value one another. The positive changes in the children can be seen by their greater hunger for the word of God, improved manners, and better care for one another during play and learning time.

The parents or care-givers of all of these extremely poor children are very thankful that this ministry continues until now because for them it is a very huge blessing that their kids can have regular nutritious food everyday through our ministry partners Care Program.
