Our Board of Trustees
David Servant – Founder of Heaven’s Family. After graduating from Bible School, served as a church planter and itinerant international teacher from 1980 through 2003, when he founded Heaven’s Family. Author of several books, including The Disciple-Making Minister, a 500-page manual for leaders that has been translated into more than 20 languages.
Carmen Parise – Vice President of Ministries. Holds a BS in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Retired from a 33-year career in aviation as a 737 captain for Continental and United Airlines. Directs Heaven’s Family’s Disabilities Ministry.
Steve Kowalke – Chief Operating Officer and Board Chairman of Heaven’s Family. Holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin. Previously with Target Corporation for 25 years as Vice President and Treasurer.
Paul Pavao – Paul is co-owner and CFO of a company that employs 40 in his hometown of Selmer, TN. He has been an IRS-certified tax professional as well as treasurer for many businesses. He currently serves as treasurer for a Christian non-profit called Rose Creek Village Ministries. Paul is also a Christian historian, a teaching elder and an author.
Thomas D. Wright, Jr. – Holds a BA in English Literature from Swarthmore College and a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law. Has more than 25 years experience as a practicing lawyer and businessman. Currently is President of Rosetta Capital Corporation.
Al Kingan – Holds a J.D. from University of Pittsburgh Law School, and a B.S. in Business Administration from Waynesburg College. Passed his CPA exam in 1992 while employed with Coopers and Lybrand. Currently is Assistant Vice President, Estate and Business Planning for Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company.
Ben Croft – Over a decade of non-profit ministry leadership experience within internationally focused organizations. Owner of a consulting practice that partners with Christ-centered ministries to advance their mission through marketing. Directs the Heaven’s Family Persecuted Christians Ministry.
