My lifetime of evangelism and mission ministry is simply a continuation of a family heritage of faith in Jesus that goes back four generations. I was given the unique opportunity to begin itinerant evangelism in local churches and youth meetings at the age of 14. From this early season until today, I have traveled to 40 states and over 30 nations, preaching, teaching, baptizing and discipling followers of Jesus Christ, with a special focus on young people. Through the years doors continued to open and I continued following Jesus, serving as youth pastor, pastor, evangelist, missionary, administrator, church planter, Children’s Home Chaplin, dad to 12 children, and husband to my co-laborer, my wife Amy. Three decades ago I founded a small international ministry in 1990 called Christian Evangelism In Frontier Areas (CEIFA), which continues frontline discipleship and compassionate ministry, often partnering hand in hand with Heaven’s Family.
As I continued to follow King Jesus and His calling to serve on the mission frontlines, doors opened for me to join Heaven’s Family. I direct four ministries: the Persecuted Christians Ministry, the Strategic Bibles Ministry, the Discipleship Multiplication Ministry and the National Missionary Ministry. These ministries have been knitted together to form a cohesive and coordinated strategy to fuel discipleship and church planting movements around the world. I am deeply humbled to be asked to lead this combined focus as Director of Frontline Discipleship. My desire and prayer is to give all that we can until all have heard.
My desire is to commit everything I am to being discipled by Jesus personally, to lead my family and all those God puts in my life to be discipled by Him as well, and to make disciples who make disciples—until the job is done. Our co-mission with Christ is not finished until the unnumbered multitudes from every tongue, tribe and nation are gathered in worship around the throne to worship the Lamb.
