These Children Have Heard Because of You

Stories of unreached children who are discovering God’s love

Dear Family,

I am writing today to encourage you with the stories of four children from Unreached People Groups who have heard the gospel thanks to your support.

I want to introduce you first to Alima, a 12-year-old girl from Tajikistan. Alima is an Afghan refugee who, until recently, was denied an education under Taliban rule. However, with your help, she is now learning to read and write.

But it doesn’t stop there. Alima and her mother, Ferhana, are also discovering the power of God’s Word. Your support has not only provided an education but also brought spiritual light to their lives. Your support also ensures that they never have to worry about food insecurity.

Alima and her mother, seated in the back corner, are learning how to read and write. Now they can study God’s Word.

Next, let’s journey to the Philippines, to a region where children are especially vulnerable to human trafficking. Grace, a 10-year-old girl, is also receiving a quality education, which includes learning about Jesus. As a part of her education, she is learning vital skills to protect herself from predators. Prevention is a crucial part of ending the fight against trafficking. Your support is helping children like Grace stay safe.

Her joy is contagious, and she spreads it to other children in her region by inviting them to church, where they learn about the Bible together.

Next, I want to introduce you to Sammy and Clarice, two siblings from a place called the “Forgotten Community.” These young children are learning to read using the Bible as their guide. They attend a weekly kids’ camp and are growing closer to God. They are also finding comfort and hope in a community plagued by drug addiction and theft.

As the police comb through their area, these children come together in prayer. Despite the challenges they face, the church is flourishing. However, our mission is far from complete. There are still more children waiting for help. Your support is helping to save them from the very real threat of starvation and giving them hope for a brighter future.

Finally, I want to turn your attention to China, where children of leprosy patients have suffered from social isolation for far too long. Through your generosity, you are helping to provide them with an education and also helping them regain their dignity and true identity.

These children are discovering how God sees them and learning that they have incredible potential. One such child, Yang Mei, eagerly anticipates attending camp this summer. At camp, she finds comfort and peace among friends who understand what life is like for her.

Little Yang is discovering God’s love for her after years of being treated as an outcast.
