In 2001, the ruler of the Hindu kingdom of Nepal was assassinated. Hundreds of years of tradition were destroyed in a moment. In the wake of the king’s death, a new level of political freedom came to Nepal, including 100 new political parties and a limited freedom to spread the gospel. Soon, young Christian leadership was springing up everywhere.

A few years ago, Jesus found Sister J. She experienced His miraculous healing in her family, and even more wonderfully she came to know the redemptive power of the cross in her own life of turmoil. Soon the call of God was upon her life and she wanted nothing more than to serve Jesus and reach her Muslim neighbors with the hope of eternal salvation.

It was risky, but sometimes high risks result in high rewards. And this time it paid off. Big.

1.3 billion people live in India. That’s three times the population of the U.S. Can you imagine how a large scale movement of God across that nation could impact the world? So what’s preventing this?

I am not sure where the “ends of the earth” are located (or how many “ends” there are), but I’m guessing they include the far reaches of Northeastern Siberia. In this frozen tundra, some of the most unreached people on earth reside. Few have even heard of the tribal groups that live in the region. Even fewer have taken seriously Jesus’ command to share the life of God with them by going to these particular “ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
