God Always Provides

How you filled the transportation gap to get medication to 235 Guatemalan children

Dear Family,

Javier was not breathing when he was born, and he was very blue. He remained in the hospital for the first 15 days of his life and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Now eight years old, Javier still has weak lungs. He is also malnourished and needs many different medicines to keep him as healthy as possible. Javier’s family has no ability to pay for his medicine, putting his life at risk.

Javier is one of the 235 children you’ve helped recently. Daryl, our partner in Guatemala, explained that he had enough funds to continue to buy the necessary medication for all the children, but not enough to deliver the medication to the children’s families because gas prices had nearly doubled in just the past month. This medication is life-sustaining for most of the children.

When I informed Daryl that your investments would cover his transportation costs for the next couple months, he removed his glasses and wiped tears from his eyes. He said that he knew God would provide, but that it never ceases to be amazing when He does.

You were the answer to a prayer. Thank you so much for being a part of Heaven’s Family’s Compassion Club.
