Dear Friends, Today I visited Zion Orphanage. We probably shouldn’t call it an orphanage, though, because there are only five children living there. They are more like a family. While talking with the director, he told me that he has a plan to make their orphanage self-sufficient. In addition to their garden and the ducks they are already raising to supplement their income, he wants to raise three female pigs. Each time those pigs have piglets, he will sell them, providing the extra income they need to take care of the children! The cost to buy three female pigs is less than $200, so I told them that we’d be thrilled to help him start his pig business. It is so good to know that I can use your money so frugally—especially when it will provide for the ongoing needs for these five orphans.
