Orphans at the zoo [Second blog from Nepal]

A group photo of almost all the children we support in Nepal. Three of the children were too scared to get close to the elephant!

All the children in the photo above were trying to be brave, but they were all a little nervous to be standing in front of an elephant! Even though the elephant had a trainer by its side, the children just weren’t sure the elephant could be trusted.

For less than $20, my husband and I took the children of both New Hope Home and Loving Children’s Home in Nepal to the zoo. We saw everything from barking deer to a giant python. The children were exhausted but happy after the complete zoo tour!

The children from New Hope Home and Loving Children’s Home all had a wonderful time at the zoo. Check out more photos below!
