Myanmar Trip Day 9 – Why Spelling is Important

Dear Friends,

Take a good look at numbers 16 and 17 on the menu above that we saw at one of the restaurants we’ve visited. I think it was supposed to read "crab" instead of "crap". Nonetheless, there was no way I was going to be ordering either of those delicacies—I knew it wouldn’t sit well in my stomach. And I was reminded that spelling is so important!

Today we held our second orphanage self-sufficiency small-business conference, this one being for all the directors in Yangon. Six stood and shared their ideas on how to earn income through small, orphanage-based enterprises. It is always exciting to hear their ideas!
