A Safe Stove and a Beautiful Bed!

A Safe Stove and a Beautiful Bed!

How you’ve made an impact in Josephina’s life

Dear Family,

Josephina is a 79-year-old widow whom you have been supporting through your investments in Heaven’s Family’s Widows & Abandoned Women Ministry for food insecurities. When I visited her in San Pedro, Guatemala in November of last year, I discovered that she had been cooking on a primitive stone “stove” and sleeping on a dilapidated foam mattress.

But now, thanks to you, Josephina is sleeping on a clean, firm mattress and has enjoyed learning how to use her new, safe stove. She explains,

This beautiful stove will reduce the smoke and pollution inside my kitchen and is much safer for me due to eliminating the negative health effects of smoke, dust and ash. I am deeply grateful for the impact your generosity is already making in my life. Thank you also for my new bed. Please tell the donors that from now on I will be sleeping like a queen!

Thank you for extending your hand to help Josephina to cook more safely, sleep more soundly, and experience how much God cares for her in very practical ways.

“The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow…” (Psalm 146:9a).
