You relieved a food crisis for hard-working families in Guatemala

Dear Family,

Guatemala was already suffering from high malnutrition rates, but during the COVID-19 lockdowns, the numbers have continued to skyrocket. Because of you, 100 children are receiving packets of food to help supplement their nutrition. Here is one testimony:

Hello, I am Gloria. I clean houses two days a week, and while my husband works during the day I take care of our three daughters, Maria Jose, Karla and Sandrita. My husband lost his job last year due to COVID-19 and now he is taking jobs mostly in construction and agriculture, low-paying jobs that make it very difficult for us to support all our needs and personal expenses. Also, life has been more difficult and food is a crisis for us because my daughters used to depend on a nutrition snack at school but not anymore due to the pandemic. So today we would like to thank you so much for blessing my daughters with food, I see many children with a smile on their face today because they know that they are going to be able to eat nutritious food. Please keep us in your prayers.
