Evans, a young boy from Haiti, was displaced early this year due to the civil unrest and gang warfare happening in Haiti. In the middle of the night, a violent gang seized his village, forcing Evans and his family to flee their home. With no jobs, money, or a home to live in, he and his family had no option other than to sleep on the streets.

While visiting Kenya a few weeks ago, I was able to meet with various medical patients who have been helped by the Critical Medical Needs Ministry of Heaven's Family over the last ten plus years. Through all my travels, it did not cease to amaze me how many individuals shared with me that their lives had been changed by the medical care they were provided with, thanks to the generosity our donors.

The partners that I was able to visit have all been working for many years with Heaven's Family. It was such a blessing over the week-long time I was in Kenya, to be able to travel to meet with these partners, face to face, and to get to see the work they are doing on the ground.

You Inspire Hungry Children

Gideo is 14 years old. He grew up in a family that lived in constant hunger. He has 5 siblings. His father Phillipe is a 65-year-old construction worker and his mother Betty is 50. They don't make enough money to send their kids to school and their family only eats one meal a day. That meal isn't enough to satisfy their hunger so they struggle to sleep as their empty stomachs remind them they need more food. But because of you, Gideo's life was about to change and unexpectedly impact his community.
